“Army Retired First Sergeant, Purple Heart recipient, and Commander of the Commodore Perry Chapter 197 of the Military Order of the Purple Heart (MOPH), thanks the MVOC for its continued support of the Chapter. Before the MVOC was founded, the Chapter did not have a home for hosting its meetings and key events, such as its annual Washington Dinner. Thanks to the MVOC and its Board of Directors, Chapter 197 has a home base at the MVOC that includes an official office, a conference room for holding monthly meetings, and facilities for hosting key events tied to the storied heritage of the MOPH.
